Director of Social Services

Supervise social service staff, conduct resident psychosocial assessments, and develop comprehensive care plans while managing recruitment, orientation, and policy revisions. Direct a social service program providing support to residents and families, facilitate discharge planning, and maintain written documentation in medical records per state and federal guidelines. Establish standards of practice, implement peer reviews, and serve as a liaison between residents, families, outside agencies, and the Center Administrator. Submit monthly reports to the RDO, participate in interdisciplinary care planning conferences, and ensure adherence to safety, fire, and sanitation codes.
