Job Summary
Director of Service Delivery responsible for end-to-end delivery of complex fiber infrastructure projects. Manages a high-performing operations team (project managers and coordinators), negotiates with environmental, OSP engineering, and OSP construction vendors, and serves as a key client liaison. Oversees project schedules, budgets, reporting, and rapid resolution of roadblocks; drives accountability and continuous improvement. Leads strategic operational initiatives, validates vendor invoices, and acts as escalation point for internal/external stakeholders. Provides technical leadership across the OSP lifecycle from engineering and permitting to splicing and testing, supports sales with build cost estimates and timelines, and designs scalable service delivery processes to improve speed-to-revenue. 20% travel, exempt full-time role, remote within the United States; requires authorization to work in the U.S. and a track record of managing large fiber programs and complex regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of operational leadership experience in high-stakes environments across the OSP infrastructure lifecycle
- experience leading and retaining high-performing internal teams; experience managing people managers is highly desired
- executive-level written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to external clients and internal leadership
- comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end project lifecycle including utility engineering, permitting and construction from initial design through final service delivery
- strong planning skills and ability to develop detailed project schedules and manage work activities to mitigate risks
- experience developing, managing, and controlling large capital budgets
- thorough understanding of fiber network cost structure and ability to identify and achieve cost savings
- understanding of fiber engineering and documentation standards and principles
- strong background in Google Suite (Sheets, etc.), Google Maps, Google Earth, Smartsheet
- BS degree preferred
