Job Summary
Lead and manage the overall strategy for test equipment calibration and maintenance across the Raytheon Sensors Portfolio. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with industry standards, such as ISO 9001 and AS9100. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure equipment performance aligns with program requirements. Drive innovation in calibration processes and technologies to improve efficiency and reduce downtime, manage the budget and resource allocation for calibration labs, and develop a high-performing team of technicians, engineers, and managers. Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding equipment readiness and operational metrics.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. government issued security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Active and existing security clearance
- University degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience
- Advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 12 years' experience
- Experience in Manufacturing, Test Equipment Calibration, Maintenance, Engineering, and / or Operations
- Active Secret or the ability to obtain one
- Onsite work location
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the aerospace and defense industry
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies
- Knowledge of government and defense industry standards, including MIL-STD and FAR/DFAR requirements
- Strong knowledge of calibration standards, measurement science, and test methodologies
- Experience managing large teams and complex technical operations
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
