Job Summary
Director of Sensor Product Design Engineering responsible for translating marketing and customer requirements into comprehensive device and system-level specifications, owning the product design, verification, and validation, and leading development of next-generation image sensor products. Role requires strong technical leadership in image sensor technology, hands-on bring-up of sensor products, and ability to mentor cross-functional engineering teams while collaborating with internal and external partners to meet specifications. Hybrid onsite/remote work in San Jose, CA; focus on shaping product design strategies, managing third-party design services, and driving continuous innovation in sensor product offerings.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10+ years of image sensor product design experience
- Strong understanding of image sensor architecture, signal processing, and characterization
- Hands-on design experience with bring-up of leading image sensor products
- Ability to lead and mentor multi-disciplinary design teams and collaborate across functions
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- MSEE or PhD preferred
