Job Summary
Directs and oversees secondary instruction across middle and high schools, leading curriculum development and MTSS implementation, coordinating instructional enrichment programs, supervising instructional services staff, aligning district and state standards, managing textbooks and course catalogs, overseeing professional learning and district-wide initiatives, analyzing student growth data to inform instructional improvements, ensuring compliance with regulations, and representing the district at professional meetings.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in teaching and/or supervision, including at least three years of administrative experience at the school, district or state level
- Master’s Degree
- ability to supervise and develop staff
- experience aligning district and state standards
- familiarity with MTSS and data-informed instruction
- ability to coordinate and manage instructional programs and budgets
- strong communication and collaboration skills
- ability to analyze academic data to inform instruction
- experience with professional learning design and district-level initiatives
