Job Summary
Director of School Improvement – Operations and Support provides strategic leadership to strengthen campus operations district-wide, serving as liaison between campuses and central offices to ensure compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include supporting principals and assistant principals in attendance, budgeting, personnel, student management, safety, health, counseling, enrollment, SPED/504/Bil-ESL coordination, T-TESS implementation, district-wide program evaluation, and coordinating centralized services with HR, Finance, Facilities, Transportation, Nutrition, Safety, Health Services, and Student Services. The role emphasizes aligning operational systems with district goals, monitoring performance dashboards, producing reports for the Board, and leading professional development to build capacity across campuses, while maintaining district commitments to student achievement and a safe, effective learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field
- Valid Texas teaching certificate and Texas principal or mid-management certification
- Minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience and three (3) years of instructional leadership experience
- Demonstrated success in school improvement, operational management, and organizational leadership
- Experience managing budgets, personnel, compliance, student discipline, and district initiatives
