Job Summary
Director of Salesforce Application leads a team of software engineers to design and implement Salesforce-based solutions across Sales, Service, and Community Clouds; formulates and manages a Salesforce strategy aligned with business objectives; drives ongoing development and refinement of the Salesforce environment; collaborates with stakeholders to translate goals into initiatives; mentors staff and consultants to ensure high-quality project delivery; stays current with Salesforce features and industry trends; manages agile development across multiple teams and coordinates with external consultants; seeks opportunities to integrate Salesforce with third-party applications and optimize security, workflows, and SOQL-based data operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related field preferred
- At least 5 years of team management experience
- 10 years in IT software development
- Experience in Agile environments
- Knowledge of security concepts and proficiency in GitHub and CI/CD environments
- Familiarity with Agile tools such as Confluence and Jira
- Preferred experience with Salesforce Commerce/Cloud Craze and Salesforce Development (Apex, Lightning, Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Rules, and SOQL)
- Experience in integrating Salesforce with third-party applications
- Strong presentation, leadership, communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to multitask effectively and work independently with attention to detail
