Job Summary
Lead sales strategy and execution to deliver sustained revenue growth across broadcast and digital platforms for WBRC 6 News and Telemundo Alabama. Manage and price inventory, forecast revenue, and build budgets while delivering reports to the General Manager. Understand and manage political sales, strengthen relationships with key clients, agencies, and community partners, and join the team on face-to-face sales calls weekly. Coach and develop Media Executives and Sales Managers, recruit new talent, and use audience measurement tools to deliver insights and effective client solutions. Partner across departments to hit company and client goals.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership track record driving broadcast and/or digital ad sales growth
- Strong negotiator and closer; builds long-term relationships and repeat business
- Highly organized with attention to detail and strong follow-through
- College degree or equivalent experience (5+ years in sales leadership) needed
- Must meet Gray driving requirements and have a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with WideOrbit, Matrix, and Microsoft Office preferred
