Job Summary
The Director of Sales is an individual contributor responsible for growth in account sales within a defined territory, focusing on freight forwarding services. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, facilitating RFQs and bids, managing client relationships, and achieving sales quotas. This role requires a strong understanding of logistics solutions, proven experience in the freight forwarding industry, and effective communication skills. A Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field, along with 5 years of relevant experience, is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Freight Forwarding
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in Sales/Business Development
- Valid driver’s license required
