Job Summary

Director of Sales, Strategic Accounts (T1200) responsible for bookings and revenue for the T1200 segment in US State & Local Law Enforcement; leads a team of Account Executives; develops and executes go-to-market plans; drives multi-product, multi-year enterprise deals; champions AI and real-time operations offerings; builds cross-functional deal teams; maintains strong relationships with chiefs, sheriffs, command staff, IT leaders, procurement, and political stakeholders; remote-based in the United States with travel (40-60% on the road) and must live within an hour of a major airport; focus on ecosystem selling across TASER devices, sensors, software, AI, and real-time operations; requires extensive enterprise sales experience, public sector/SLED domain familiarity, and ability to navigate complex procurement processes; salary is competitive with 401k and benefits; equal opportunity employer.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise or strategic sales, with at least 5+ years leading frontline sales teams
  • Experience selling to public sector / SLED, ideally State & Local Law Enforcement or adjacent public safety markets
  • Proven ability to exceed multi-million-dollar bookings and revenue targets through team leadership
  • Ability to guide teams through long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and formal procurement
  • Experience structuring multi-year, multi-product agreements
  • Strong operational discipline: pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills—comfortable presenting to C-level, elected officials, command staff, and Axon executives
  • High learning agility with the ability to understand and coach others on Axon’s full technology ecosystem
  • Deep alignment with Axon’s mission and commitment to public safety
