Director of Sales (Steel Structures)

Job Summary
Director of Sales for Stella-Jones Steel Structures responsible for go-to-market strategy, sales budgets, revenue targets, and customer experience across North American utilities. Leads product-line management, develops and executes marketing strategies, leverages the SJUP sales team to expand opportunities, builds relationships with utilities and EPC firms, manages bids, tenders, and RFQs, and coordinates cross-functional efforts with engineering, project delivery, and operations. Requires ten or more years in sales, experience in steel fabrication or utility infrastructure, ability to travel up to 50%, and a remote, home-based placement in the United States or Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Ten or more years of sales, business development and/or account management experience required
- Significant experience in steel fabrication, utility infrastructure, construction materials, or related industrial manufacturing required
- Proven success meeting or exceeding annual sales targets
- Experience interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and engineered products
- Experience in developing marketing approaches
- Ability to travel across Canada and the United States (up to 50%)
- Experience managing product line, business unit or equivalent (preferred)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
