Job Summary

Director of Sales responsible for owning revenue in Canada for an EV-focused fleet-procurement business. Lead a small AE/SDR team, drive quota attainment, pipeline growth, and forecast accuracy, and personally close the largest enterprise opportunities. Shape the commercial engine over 12–24 months by hiring, segmenting territories, tightening the sales motion, and expanding GTM across Canada and potentially the USA. Responsibilities include managing quota and pipeline across the AE/SDR team, coaching and developing AEs, collaborating with Marketing on demand generation and ABM, aligning with product/ops/finance on customer economics, and building scalable processes from 4 to 10+ quota carriers. Required skills include complex, consultative sales with CFO/ Fleet/ Operations stakeholders, ability to work with leasing/financing economics, CRM hygiene, and long-cycle enterprise selling. Bonus points for EV/clean-tech experience, prior scale-up revenue growth, French language ability, and experience selling services + software + asset finance.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years selling into Canadian commercial fleet customers
  • track record of carrying and beating quota personally
  • direct experience managing a sales team of 3–5+ AEs
  • comfort with complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales (6–18 month cycles)
  • ability to hire and develop the next generation of AEs
  • experience with CRM and sales processes, ABM, demand gen, and GTM strategies
