Job Summary

Lead the property's sales strategy to drive revenue growth across corporate, group, entertainment, SMERF, and local events; manage RFPs, forecasts, and CRM; partner with Revenue Management; negotiate contracts; build and maintain client relationships; oversee strategy meetings and act as part of hotel leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of hotel sales, revenue management, forecasting, and business development
  • Experience utilizing STR reports and market share analysis
  • Knowledge of Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, RGI, and MPI metrics
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and networking skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Preferred Director of Sales leadership experience
  • Experience with Choice Hotels or other major hotel brands
  • Experience with Delphi, Cvent, Knowland, Agency360, and OTA extranets
  • Established relationships within the Los Angeles, Calabasas, Malibu, Woodland Hills, and Ventura County markets
