Job Summary
Director of Sales and Marketing to lead the hotel’s sales, marketing and revenue functions, manage the sales team, develop and execute the marketing plan, budget, and incentive programs, ensure brand standards, oversee travel planning for the S&M team, drive forecasting with revenue management, optimize channels and cross-sell with sister properties, provide strategic feedback, build relationships with Division Heads, recruit and develop the Sales & Marketing team, and participate in capital-improvement recommendations. Requires prior Director of Sales and supervisory experience in hotel sales, proficiency with Microsoft 365 and hotel systems, and up to 75% travel. Required Qualifications
- Prior Director of Sales experience
- Prior Supervisory experience in hotel sales or related fields
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, brand's PMS, Delphi FDC, or similar applications
- Minimum High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Associate’s degree and five years of progressive experience in hotels or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major preferred
- Travel: Up to 75% travel requirement
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation and the ability to run off-property errands with minimal notice
- Pre-employment background check required
