Job Summary

Director of Sales responsible for direct prospecting to build personal pipeline, closing new business across all service offerings, achieving annual sales revenue and gross margin goals, and using a consultative selling strategy to understand customers’ business needs. The role involves developing knowledge of company service offerings, leveraging data analytics for decision-making, managing the full sales process from qualification to implementation, collaborating on pricing and account implementation plans, preparing documents for RFPs and customer handover, aligning expectations with operations to ensure satisfaction, and driving organic growth through cross-functional initiatives and continuous improvement feedback with customers.

Required Qualifications

  • 4-year degree
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or related sales
  • strong negotiation skills
  • ability to identify, analyze, and resolve complex sales and customer challenges
  • proven ability to develop innovative solutions meeting customer needs
  • expertise in presenting and communicating with stakeholders at various levels
  • excellent verbal and written communication
  • ability to manage multiple sales projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • experience with CRM tools and sales technologies
