Job Summary
Lead the property's sales department, managing reactive and proactive efforts to achieve booking goals and revenues. Develop strategic account plans, evaluate market trends, and execute campaigns within the marketing budget to drive occupancy and RevPAR. Serve as the primary sales contact for the General Manager, Group Sales, and Area Sales leaders, while overseeing team performance, talent acquisition, and compliance with brand standards. Coordinate crisis communications and ensure seamless turnover between sales and operations to deliver high-level service.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 4 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area
- 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
- 2 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area
Desired Qualifications
- 4 year college degree
- Demonstrated skills in supervising a team
- Lodging sales experience
- Hotel industry work experience, demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance
