Job Summary
Lead the pre-opening and ongoing sales and marketing strategy for the new AC Hotel by Marriott, driving awareness and revenue across corporate, group, leisure, weddings, and social segments. Develop business by building relationships with key accounts, planners, and local organizations while promoting the hotel's 126 guest rooms, event space, and dining venues. Drive awareness through digital marketing, public relations, partnerships, and community engagement, maintaining a strong sales pipeline via prospecting, networking, and account development. Partner with revenue management on pricing, forecasting, and promotions to develop annual plans, budgets, and performance reports. Negotiate contracts with group and business transient accounts, recruit and coach a high-performing sales team, and represent the hotel within the community. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategy and identify opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of hotel trend reporting, including ADR, Occupancy, and RevPAR.
- Progressive hospitality sales and marketing leadership experience.
- Proven success driving hotel revenue across corporate, group, meetings, weddings, and social events.
- Strong knowledge of hotel sales, marketing, forecasting, budgeting, and revenue strategy.
- Understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce strategies and public relations.
- Strong experience with building community partnerships.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability to turn strategy into action.
Desired Qualifications
- Pre-opening or new hotel launch experience preferred.
- Knowledge of brand positioning a plus.
