Job Summary
Director of Sales & Marketing to oversee the marketing and sales efforts for a senior living community in Roanoke, ensuring census targets are met by developing and executing marketing plans, leading inquiries and tours, training staff on inquiry handling and customer service, coordinating move‐in processes, building relationships with local facilities and groups, promoting events, and serving as educational spokesperson on aging and health issues. Responsibilities include leading marketing meetings, managing lead tracking and reporting, executing external marketing calls, hosting community events, fostering referral networks, and collaborating with the marketing team to drive occupancy while adhering to corporate standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Three years’ experience working as a marketing director in senior care
- Demonstrated ability to build a census
- Ability to analyze data and develop and implement a marketing plan
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and complete projects on time
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computer programs
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Experience with lead tracking systems and inquiries handling
- Experience in community events planning
- Knowledge of resident referrals and admissions process
