Job Summary
Director of Sales, Marketing & Events leading revenue across rooms, group business, catering, and ancillary outlets for a luxury hotel in Seattle. Drives Sales, Marketing, Public Relations, and Events to achieve short- and long-term financial goals, reporting to the General Manager with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, demand, and distribution, increase RevPAR, and expand market share. Responsible for group and transient segments, digital strategy (CRM, email, SEO/SEM, retargeting), brand storytelling, distribution channel optimization (direct vs OTA), and partnerships with luxury brands and agencies. Oversees Event & Catering strategy, BEOs and Group resumes, with leadership over Sales, Marketing, and Events teams, and cross-functional collaboration with ownership groups and asset managers. Requires strong leadership, strategic planning, forecasting, budget management, market intelligence, and a track record of achieving revenue and marketing objectives in luxury hospitality. Location-based responsibilities in Seattle with potential cross-functional collaboration across departments, and a focus on delivering measurable results against KPIs. The role emphasizes executive collaboration, brand positioning, and high standards of service and professionalism in a luxury hotel context.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred
- At least five years of experience as a Director of Sales and Marketing in a luxury full-service hotel preferred
