Job Summary
Director of Sales responsible for direct sales and marketing activities to achieve pre-lease goals and maximize occupancy and revenue for the community. Manages the sales/marketing department, executes the marketing plan, conducts community outreach and education to create referrals, delivers internal and external group presentations, maintains referral partnerships, coordinates outreach with key staff, conducts tours and closes sales as needed, and supports weekend coverage. Requires a creative, energetic, and customer-service oriented approach with experience in senior living sales and a proven track record in developing referral sources, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and related marketing software.
Required Qualifications
- Five years sales/marketing experience with a proven track record
- Experience working with seniors
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other marketing-related software
- Proven ability to identify and develop professional referral sources
- Travel availability up to 30% of time
- Ability to conduct outreach, presentations, tours, and close sales
