Job Summary
Director of Sales in the medical device industry leading a high-performing sales team to drive revenue growth and market expansion. Responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, leading team recruitment, training, and coaching, managing customer relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, distributors, and GPOs, conducting market analysis and competitive intelligence, and delivering accurate sales forecasts and performance metrics. Requires a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred), 10+ years of progressive leadership in medical device sales, and strong strategic, analytical, and negotiation skills. Located in Dallas, TX with on-site duties.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in medical device sales
- Deep understanding of medical device industry dynamics, market trends, regulatory requirements, and customer needs and preferences
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams, build strategic partnerships, and negotiate complex sales agreements
