Job Summary
Manage E.D. accounts for performance and profitability by anticipating customer needs, identifying growth opportunities through effective product placement, and maintaining pricing changes. Work with Data Analysts to review sales trends, process quotations, and issue monthly reports including Fill Rate and shipment tracking. Manage Manufacturer's Representatives in the specified territory regarding budgeting, sales plans, and pricing strategy while coordinating industry events and hosting plant tours. Coordinate efforts with Technical Sales and Innovation teams to support contractor-facing strategies and maintain strong communication channels with customers.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Advanced computer experience (Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Access / Excel / Outlook / PowerPoint / Windows / Word/ PowerBI or similar reporting tools)
- Demonstrated analytical skills and organizational skills
- Proven attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of employees (both inside and outside the company)
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the Electrical Distribution channel
- Demonstrated trust and integrity, high ethical standards, interpersonal competence and the ability to prevent, reduce and resolve conflict
- Able to manage multiple priorities and generate results in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated team and leadership skills: decision making, analytical, team building and organization skills
- Ability to travel at least 60% within, and occasionally outside the assigned territory
- Position will be located remotely
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in business related major
- Experience working for an electrical manufacturer, distributor, or electrical product manufacturer's representative
- Established relationships with distributors and contractors within the territory
