Job Summary
Director of Sales leads the full commercial organization, including outside sales, business development, and estimating/sales engineering, to drive revenue growth, improve gross margin discipline, quote quality, and forecast accuracy; responsible for installing a structured operating cadence, Salesforce adoption, pipeline management, and coaching/upgrading commercial talent.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive B2B sales experience, with at least 4 years in a sales leadership role
- Experience leading teams in commercial contracting, technical services, building systems, security, fire/life safety, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or similar environment
- Experience working with both customer-facing salespeople and technical estimating / pre-sales resources
- Experience selling complex solutions with multiple stakeholders and longer sales cycles
- Strong Salesforce or comparable CRM experience
- Ability to bring structure and accountability to an entrepreneurial or under-systematized environment
