Job Summary
Director of Sales and Marketing for a senior living community. Oversees internal and external marketing efforts to meet or exceed census targets, adheres to corporate marketing standards, trains staff on inquiry handling and customer service, develops quarterly marketing plans, leads marketing meetings, manages all inquiries personally in-building, conducts external marketing calls, hosts community events, promotes the community to local groups, cultivates relationships with local skilled nursing facilities for discharge planning, and serves as a spokesperson on aging and health issues. Requires a High School Diploma or GED with a Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience, and at least three years of marketing director experience in senior care. Strong data analysis, planning, organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills are essential, along with the ability to work flexible hours and lift up to 25lbs. Required Qualifications
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Three years’ experience working as a marketing director in senior care
- Demonstrated ability to build a census
- Ability to analyze data and develop and implement a marketing plan
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and complete projects on time
- Must possess strong oral and written communication skills and be proficient using computer programs
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule based upon the business needs, which could include evenings and weekends
- Must be able to lift, carry, and push up to 25lbs
