Job Summary
Director of Sales & Marketing responsible for leading all sales, marketing, and revenue-generating efforts for Cascade Hotel Kansas City and Aloft Kansas City Country Club Plaza. Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies across group, corporate, transient, social, and catering market segments; drive revenue growth to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and market share; build and maintain key client relationships; lead and develop the Sales & Marketing team; collaborate with Revenue Management, Operations, Rooms, F&B, and Events to ensure successful execution of group and event business; ensure marketing materials align with Marriott brand standards; represent hotels at client meetings and industry events; and support business development across assigned portfolio properties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hotel sales experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
- Proven success driving revenue growth, account development, and sales strategy execution.
- Strong knowledge of group, corporate, transient, and catering sales.
- Experience leading and developing sales teams.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze sales performance, market trends, and business opportunities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and sales reporting systems.
