Job Summary

Director of Sales Analytics leads the analytics function for a multi-category portfolio, transforming data into actionable insights to drive revenue growth. The role leverages Nielsen and other syndicated data, partners cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to identify opportunities, optimize performance, and support strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include owning sales reporting and analytics (weekly, monthly, quarterly), developing standardized dashboards and KPIs, planning and forecasting, pricing strategy and trade investment analysis, and supporting Joint Business Planning with data-backed recommendations. The position requires a hands-on, player-coach leadership style to build and develop a high-performing analytics team and to drive a data-driven culture across the organization. The role entails collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align on strategy and execution, and requires senior-level communication and storytelling skills to present insights to leadership. Remote work is available for the USA market.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales Analytics, Category Management, Revenue Growth Management, or related roles within CPG
  • Deep experience with Nielsen (required) and other syndicated data sources (IRI/Circana preferred)
  • Proven track record of influencing sales strategy and driving measurable business results
  • Experience supporting major retail accounts (e.g., mass, grocery, pet specialty, eCommerce)
  • Prior experience in the pet category preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional storytelling skills—ability to translate data into compelling narratives for internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of forecasting and trade spend
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership
  • High ownership mentality with a bias for action
