Job Summary

Director of Sales to lead and manage the Sales team, develop and implement strategic sales plans, maximize revenue, and maintain strong client relationships to achieve business targets. Responsible for positioning the property in the market, driving profitability, and leading a high-performing sales department. Key activities include developing sales strategies aligned with business goals, coaching and supervising the sales team, securing new business opportunities with corporate accounts and travel agencies, monitoring market trends, managing the sales budget, collaborating with Marketing/Revenue Management/Operations, and representing the property at trade shows and events to attract new clients. Requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), senior sales leadership experience in hospitality, and strong skills in leadership, negotiations, analytics, planning, communication, and presentation. Sustainability and compliance with standards are emphasized, along with a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of CRM and sales management software is a plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Results-oriented with a track record of achieving sales targets
