Job Summary

Director of Sales to lead the property's commercial strategy, revenue generation, and brand positioning. Develop and execute annual sales and marketing plans aligned with budgets; drive revenue across transient, corporate, leisure, MICE, and group segments; collaborate with Revenue Management on pricing and distribution; manage budgets, forecasts, and performance reports; lead and develop the Sales team; maintain key accounts and strategic partnerships; represent the property at industry events and drive partnerships with local tourism boards and industry bodies. Requires 8+ years in hospitality sales/marketing with at least 3 years in a director-level role, and a Bachelor's degree (preferred).

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive sales and marketing experience in the hospitality industry
  • At least 3 years in a director-level or equivalent leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and executing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and market share expansion
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple business segments including transient, corporate, leisure, MICE, and group sales
  • Strong proficiency in revenue management, pricing optimization, and demand forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and inspire at all organizational levels
  • Exceptional relationship-building and networking capabilities with corporate accounts, travel agencies, tour operators, and industry partners
  • Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven leadership experience in building, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or related field
  • Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) and sales/CRM software
  • Knowledge of luxury or upscale hospitality brands
  • Experience with destination marketing and tourism board partnerships
  • Certification in hospitality sales or revenue management
