Job Summary
Oversee critical infrastructure safety and security for Nashville Soccer Club, including personnel, facilities, and domestic and international events. Manage 24/7 internal security staff, develop venue safety and emergency action plans, and conduct training exercises. Establish relationships with law enforcement and governmental agencies to coordinate services, while administering contract security personnel and managing match day equipment. Enforce fan policies, execute inclement weather action plans, and oversee all security operations across GEODIS Park and Vanderbilt Health Training Center. Requires flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years working in sports & entertainment or large venues in a security function
- Bachelor's degree in law enforcement, Sport/Event Management, Law, or Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with event technology, incident reporting, and other physical security systems
- Strong written and oral communication, interview, and collaboration experience
- Flexible work schedule inclusive of nights, weekends, and holidays
- Bending, lifting, and repeated movements including lifting 15-20 pounds
- Indoor and outdoor events in all weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- 5-10 years working in sports & entertainment venues in a security function
- Law enforcement contacts on the federal, state, and local level
- Command of Large-scale special event coordination with security and local law enforcement
- Advanced knowledge of event logistics, planning, budgeting, and implementation
- Prior knowledge and experience with Safety act certification
- Multi-lingual or Bi-lingual English and Spanish
- Professional certifications (CSSP, AVSS, CPP, etc.) in Security
