Director of Safety, Security, Health, and Preparedness

Directs and develops a comprehensive safety, security, health, and preparedness program for Lick-Wilmerding High School. Oversees daily security operations (access control, visitor management, campus procedures), safety personnel, and security systems (cameras, access control, communications). Ensures student health protocols, maintains records, and implements emergency plans and post-incident improvements. Leads incident response, conducts post-incident reviews, and delivers training to build a culture of safety across the school. Collaborates with Facilities to ensure OSHA compliance and aligns strategy with institutional priorities. Reports to the Chief Financial and Operating Officer and supervises two staff, with potential to expand the team as the program develops. Qualifications emphasize leadership, accountability, emotional intelligence, clear communication, adaptability, and willingness to obtain BSIS certification.
