Director of Safety

Lead safety culture across all plant locations by overseeing DOT and Safety compliance, including CMV Files, Driver Qualification Files, and Hours of Service programs. Conduct maintenance shop audits to identify hazards, evaluate roadside inspection accuracy, and inspect equipment for unsafe conditions while ensuring corrective actions are taken. Develop and manage safety programs, training initiatives, and telematics oversight to assess risk and adherence to FMCSA and OSHA regulations. Report findings to management and facilitate safety meetings to prevent accidents. Requires 40-60% travel and experience with fleet telematics platforms.
