Job Summary
Manage human resources functions including hiring, training, coaching, and performance reviews for the Rooms Division. Oversee daily check-in and check-out procedures, handle reservations and inquiries, and process cash transactions while maximizing revenue. Operate PBX equipment, resolve guest complaints, and implement emergency protocols to ensure guest safety. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance to maintain property standards and lead the Front Office, AdventureRock, and Housekeeping departments toward operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- A four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience
- Four to five years of employment in a related position with Sage or other organization(s)
- Supervisory/management skills
- Ability to negotiate, convince, sell and influence professionals and/or hotel guests
- Excellent speech communication skills
- Excellent literacy
- Ability to respond to guest requests and questions over the phone
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry
- Must be able to bend and kneel
- Must be able to climb up to approximately 40 steps 1% of 40 hour week
- Must be able to climb ladders up to approximately 5 feet 15% of 40 hour week
- Must be able to drive as necessary
- Must be able to stand continuously
