Job Summary

Implement a robust risk management program across the facility by leading investigations into actual and potential risks, analyzing liability, and driving safety initiatives to reduce harm and organizational loss. Collaborate with corporate risk management, legal teams, and facility leadership to ensure compliance with state, federal laws, and regulatory agencies while establishing systems that support patient safety. Lead the Safety Committee to develop measurable safety initiatives, conduct root cause analyses for specified events, and provide staff training on identifying, reporting, and mitigating risk. Promote a culture of safety by encouraging incident reporting and streamlining the reporting process through employee collaboration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical healthcare, risk management, business, finance, or a related field
  • Two or more years' experience in a risk management position
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification
  • First aid

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in health information management, nursing, or related field
  • CPHRM
