Director of Revenue Cycle Management (Chesapeake Specialty Care)

Oversee end-to-end revenue cycle functions including patient access, charge capture, coding, billing, collections, and payment posting for both the medical practice and ambulatory surgery center. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators such as days in A/R, denial rates, and clean claim rates to drive financial performance and minimize denials. Develop policies to optimize revenue capture, manage payer contract analysis, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and specialty-specific billing requirements for ENT, Allergy, Audiology, and Plastic Surgery procedures. Lead and mentor the billing team, establish performance standards, and conduct regular audits to maintain coding accuracy under CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS guidelines. Prepare regular financial reports, manage the departmental budget, and collaborate with clinical managers and practice administrators on forecasting. Requires a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field, 7-10 years of progressive revenue cycle experience, and 3-5 years in leadership.
