Director of Revenue Cycle

Director of Revenue Cycle responsible for overseeing the policies and objectives of the organization’s revenue cycle activities, including pricing, billing, payer relationships, collections, denials, and reimbursement rates, to optimize cash flow and financial performance. Key duties include managing the billing department, designing and maintaining policies related to pricing and collections, ensuring compliance with federal and payer regulations, directing patient insurance documentation and data processing, analyzing billing and claims for accuracy before submission to Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurers, collaborating with the Collections Manager and Denials Team, tracking metrics such as coding error rates, billing turnaround times, and DSO, maintaining communication with leadership on high-dollar accounts, coordinating with Compliance to maximize reimbursements and minimize denials, auditing current processes for efficiency, and performing other duties as assigned. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline and/or Revenue Cycle experience in long-term care, with a strong understanding of long-term care billing processes and strong organizational, computer, and time-management skills.
