Job Summary
Develop and execute the owned retail strategy to launch the company's first stores from the ground up. Create scalable operating procedures and playbooks while leading the flagship store to establish operational excellence. Recruit, hire, and develop high-performing retail teams to build the organizational structure as the fleet expands. Monitor key KPIs including sales, conversion, and profitability to drive financial performance and operational efficiency. Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Marketing, and eCommerce on assortment planning and product launches. This opportunity is ideal for an emerging leader with 8+ years of experience in founder-led environments who thrives on building retail channels from day one.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of progressive retail leadership experience
- Experience leading multi-unit retail operations
- Proven success opening new stores and helping scale a retail organization
- Background in founder-led, entrepreneurial, or high-growth consumer brands
- Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, labor planning, inventory management, and financial performance
- Willingness to travel regularly between retail locations
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Shopify POS or similar retail technology platforms
