Director of Retail IT Systems

Own the full lifecycle of technology powering 40+ store operations. Define a 3-year retail systems roadmap, deliver a best-in-class POS environment, manage secure edge firewalls, cloud-delivered security services, and integrations for the Jump Start Rewards platform. Lead POS, forecourt controllers, tank monitors, price book, and network/service provider contracts; ensure 99.9% uptime and PCI/NIST compliance; build data pipelines to the enterprise data warehouse and enable store-level dashboards for rewards, labor, margin, and shrink; drive vendor evaluations, negotiations, and ROI for hardware, software, telecom, cloud IaaS, and payment processors; manage a $5–7 million annual budget; roll out updated POS and firewall stacks to all stores on schedule and under budget; contribute to loss prevention through AI/ML and monitoring solutions.
