Director of Residential Life, South County Academy

Director of Residential Life at South County Academy oversees safety, supervision, and professional guidance for residents placed through the Department of Children, Youth and Families. Leads residential programming with the management team, coordinates with departments to foster residents’ sense of purpose, motivation, ownership, and security, and monitors the milieu while implementing Trauma Systems Therapy (TST). Requires collaboration, leadership, strong communication, and ability to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings; travel to community locations; and ability to train in de-escalation techniques. Spanish-speaking capability is preferred and compensated; bilingual/ASL and multilingual skills provide additional compensation. A 4-year degree in a social-work-related field is required, with supervisory experience preferred. FSRI emphasizes diversity and inclusion and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
