Job Summary
Director of Resident Care oversees resident wellness and the resident medication program across assisted living and memory care communities, initiates resident service plans, manages healthcare delivery, conducts on-site assessments, maintains documentation and communication with families, physicians, and third-party providers, supervises Medication Assistants, ensures accurate eMAR transcription, participates in on-call and emergency response activities, and collaborates with business-office processes. Requires RN or LVN licensure in Texas, CPR certification, and strong leadership/communication skills. The role is full-time with schedule 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with weekend/holiday rotations; may require covering Resident Assistant or Medication Aide shifts. 4K Housing emphasizes benefits, advancement opportunities, and equal opportunity employment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LVN/RN program
- Current, active RN or LVN license in Texas
- CPR certification
- Ability to supervise other staff and manage nursing operations
- Experience in senior living or related health programs (preferred)
