Job Summary
Director of Resident Care leads day-to-day operations of the Resident Care Department and oversees home care clinical services on campus, supervising nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, and care support staff; focuses on resident wellness, health maintenance, assessments, care coordination, and timely follow-up; ensures accurate documentation and medication management; collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams; works to expand and strengthen the Home Care Services Program; requires Active RN license in PA, bachelor’s degree preferred, 3+ years leadership and 5+ years clinical nursing in long-term care, and ability to work evenings and weekends; on-site, Kennett Square, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in community health, home care, primary care, or a related setting.
- At least 5 years of clinical nursing experience in a long-term care environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively, and work a flexible schedule as needed, including evenings and weekends.
