Director of Research and Development � Portfolio Management

Lead portfolio visibility, prioritization, and execution discipline across the Human Nutrition & Health business by defining, sequencing, and managing market-driven innovation, customer-driven new product development, and support projects. Partner with Food Solutions, Minerals & Nutrients, and Technical Operations leadership to align on trade-off decisions, resource capacity, and project success criteria while establishing stage-gate governance and project management standards. Build and develop a high-performing portfolio management team, driving cross-functional accountability for timelines, deliverables, and risk escalation through structured monthly review meetings. Serve as the primary R&D interface with Finance for portfolio valuation, resource planning, and executive reporting, ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Maintain visibility to R&D processes across business segments and lead training on project management systems and workflows.
