Job Summary
Develop and maintain comprehensive parish catechetical programs for youth and children from kindergarten through grade 8, overseeing sacramental preparation, Children's Liturgy of the Word, and Vacation Bible School. Supervise administrative assistants and numerous volunteers while managing the annual registration process, budgeting, and facility logistics. Facilitate parent and catechist meetings, recruit and train catechists, and serve as a liaison with the diocesan office and parish committees. Conduct annual registration, maintain participation and achievement records, and ensure a safe environment through background checks and training. Work Monday through Thursday for 30 hours at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Poway, CA, reporting to the Pastoral Associate.

- Active, practicing member of the Catholic Church
- Excellent knowledge and adherence to Church teaching life
- Must maintain appropriate certifications
- Attend enrichment courses and programs as appropriate
