Job Summary
Plan, manage, and evaluate the rehabilitation department's programs and staff. Monitor admissions, assign new evaluations, develop treatment schedules, and ensure appropriate staffing at all times. Track MDS assessment periods, complete documentation and chart audits, and monitor compliance with automated therapy management tools. Manage cost and fiscal growth while assisting in recruitment, hiring, retention, and new staff training. Set departmental goals, implement policies, and promote positive employee relations within the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Current or eligible Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice
- Prior senior living experience
- PDPM
- Supervisory in healthcare setting
- If foreign-trained, degree must be evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level
