Job Summary
Director of Rehabilitation Services (DOR) leads clinical practice and clinical leadership within a skilled nursing facility, overseeing rehabilitation services, direct provision of skilled interventions, independent professional judgment, training/mentoring of licensed therapists and staff, and ensuring compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include clinical evaluation and plan-of-care development, ensuring medical necessity, clinical documentation review, supervision of a team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists and assistants, staff development, budget/operational management, and engagement with residents and families regarding treatment plans and outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Masters in Occupational Therapy
- Masters in Physical Therapy
- Masters in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensed rehabilitation clinicians
- Exempt professional clinical leadership experience
