Director of Rehabilitation

Lead the rehabilitation department by assigning patient schedules, supervising staff performance, and overseeing documentation practices to ensure payer compliance and accurate MDS reporting. Drive departmental strategy by establishing goals, managing revenue and expenses, and participating in interdisciplinary meetings for utilization review and quality assurance. Represent therapy services to the public and medical community while maintaining open communication with facility administration regarding operational risks and achievements. Ensure all clinical activities, including screenings, evaluations, and treatments, adhere to state and federal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
