Director of Rehabilitation

Lead the rehabilitation department by assigning patient scheduling, supervising and training staff, and overseeing documentation practices to ensure accuracy and payer compliance. Manage departmental revenue and expenses to meet budgetary targets while participating in interdisciplinary meetings, utilization reviews, and quality assurance conferences. Represent therapy services to the public and medical community, maintain open communication with facility administration, and provide or oversee resident screenings, evaluations, and treatments in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Ensure timely completion of MDS reporting and billing documentation while fostering professional growth through collaboration and continuing education. Maintain a valid state license and stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes.
