Director of Rehabilitation (PT OT SLP OTA PTA)

Director of Rehabilitation leads the rehabilitation department in a skilled nursing facility, overseeing Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology services; supervises licensed therapists and assistants; ensures high-quality resident care; develops and implements department policies and clinical programs; monitors productivity, documentation, and compliance with Medicare, MDS, and state/federal guidelines; collaborates with interdisciplinary team, physicians, nurses, administration, and families; participates in care plan meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and family conferences; manages scheduling, staffing, and performance evaluations; reports to the Administrator/Director of Operations; NJ licensure or eligibility required; leadership experience preferred; familiarity with PDPM and rehab reimbursement; mentorship and training support provided for new grads.
