Job Summary
Lead and manage the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, supervising Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and therapy aides. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations while collaborating with nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate resident care. Develop individualized care plans, support PDPM processes, and monitor productivity and clinical outcomes. Participate in audits, care conferences, and leadership meetings to foster a positive, collaborative work environment. Requires an active California license and minimum one year of experience as a Director of Rehabilitation in a skilled nursing facility. Full-time position with a $4,000 hiring and retention bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Active California license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology, in good standing
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Director of Rehabilitation in a skilled nursing facility
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology (or higher)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior leadership experience within a rehabilitation department
- Strong knowledge of PDPM, Medicare, and skilled nursing facility regulations
- Experience with EMR systems and regulatory compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
