Job Summary
Direct the daily operations of the rehabilitation department, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary therapy team while coordinating with nursing, physicians, and administration to ensure seamless resident care. Monitor department performance, productivity, and clinical outcomes, ensuring compliance with Medicare guidelines, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements. Assist with staff onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management to support quality improvement initiatives and resident-centered care planning. This full-time leadership role offers a collaborative environment within an established program, providing opportunities to make a meaningful impact on resident outcomes and department success.
Required Qualifications
- Active PT, PTA, OT, COTA, or SLP license
- Skilled nursing facility experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior rehabilitation leadership experience
- Knowledge of Medicare, PDPM, and rehabilitation operations
