Job Summary
Director of Rehabilitation leading and overseeing the therapy department to ensure high-quality resident care; responsibilities include evaluating residents’ conditions, supervising therapy staff, attending meetings to oversee care quality, guiding residents through recovery stages, maintaining confidentiality, ensuring infection-control compliance, and adhering to regulatory requirements. The role requires leadership experience in rehabilitation services, licensure/registration in the applicable therapy field, and a track record of directing or managing rehabilitation programs. The position emphasizes inter-disciplinary collaboration, resident-focused care, and adherence to Eduro HealthCare values across health services in a nursing and rehabilitation setting.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PT/OT/SLP/COTA/PTA program
- Current and active therapy license or registration in state employed
- Experience as a Director or Rehabilitation or an ADOR
- Completion of orientation required by company policy
- Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment
- Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three days of hire
